Lord,
Today is a new day.
Thank you for waking me up to see it.
Thank you for not allowing yesterday’s troubles to defeat me.
Thank you for being my reason to go on in victory.
Today,
I can begin to change how I speak to myself.
I can begin to change how I treat myself.
I can begin anything beautiful and necessary
that I’ve long postponed out of fear.
I can release the weight of mistakes, and instead apply the lessons.
I can renew my mind.
I can reset healthy habits.
I can encourage someone.
I can accept love.
I can ask for support.
I can seek and lose count of opportunities to be grateful.
It amazes me how much I can look forward to.
It amazes me how much is possible,
but I can’t do today without you.
Please help me and guide me. May my eyes be a lamp to see your goodness.
